Snow-shoeing Reisalpe (Niederösterreichische Voralpen)

Suggested by Kirstin Buchholz (2001), adapted and this time (2003) guided by Peter Levenitschnig

Character:     It’s a classic, technical quite easy tour (in the 2nd part a little bit steep = strenuous) up to a summit with a fantastic view (if the weather is fine) to Schneeberg, Rax, Schneealpe, Gippel und Göller, Ötscher, Hochschwab, Gesäuse... Variation Hochstaff: Because of the descent a little bit more difficult, but this variation is only optional and can also be done by a part of the group, while the others go down the same way like up!
