Vienna Woods - a little further afield..Rodaun to Heiligenkreuz (or Moedling via Gieszhuebel) on 18 November 2017

This will be a  4- 5 hours, easy walk starting from Rodaun (end of tramline Nr. 60).

 From Rodaun, we will walk to Perchtoldsdorf, then across the Perchtoldsdorfer Heide and up the 'Foehrenberge' hills. Next to the Kammersteiner Huette, there is a 'Warte' treating us to nice views across the souther parts of the Vienna Woods. We'll head on to the Hoellenstein & Hoellenstein Haus for lunch. From there, we will either walk down to Heiligenkreuz, as originally planned, or to Moedling via Gieszhuebel..i'll try to find out which one the more scenic route is until then ;). Back to Vienna by bus & S-Bahn....Just a nice& easy auumn woodland walk with a not too early Saturday morning start:)

This is a social walk, presenting not technical difficulties, so you can bring friends, foes and family along..

Meet at 9.30 at the end of tramline Nr. 60 - Rodaun. Back to vienna by bus & S-Bahn.
