Review of the year 2017 and Planning Meeting 2018.... and prizes galore!
1) Presentation: Review of the Year 2017 by everybody!
We will have a quick look back over the Alpine Club Vienna year 2017. This should be a joint effort by anyone who took part in any of our events - please send a selection of your favourite photos from 2017 ACV events you took part in to info@alpineclubvienna.org for including in the presentation. Please send them at the latest by Wed 29th November.
From all the photos we receive, we will select a few of our favourites, and from these everyone present at the meeting will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite ACV Photo of 2017 - the photographer of the winning photo will win a prize.
Please remember to mark clearly which event it was, and if possible write a few words about them.
Please only send a small selection of photos - either directly as attachments in a mail, or even better a link to dropbox, google photos/drive etc. An idea resolution would be 1600x1200 - please not much smaller.
Following the presentation we will have a planning meeting to discuss events for 2018. We need lots of events for 2018 - here are some examples:
- Mountain hikes
- Snowshoe hikes
- Skitours
- Easier hikes (e.g. in the Vienna Woods)
- Climbing/Klettersteig
- Cycling/Mountainbiking
- Social or Culinary hikes
- any other "outdoorsy" ideas?
Please come with lots of ideas, preferably with specific dates when you would like to organize them. Even better is if you would send me by mail (info@alpineclubvienna.org) your ideas prior to the meeting.
If you have some ideas, but are not sure how to implement them, please bring them along and we can talk about them at the meeting.
