Presentation: Safety in the Mountains in Winter
by Dr Ferdinand Hirss

Ferdinand Hirss, who many of you will know from the First Aid in the Mountains and our winter courses will give a presentation about staying safe in the mountains in winter. For those of you who have already taken part in the avalanche courses, this will act as a bit of a refresher, and for the others, who have not yet done the courses, a bit of an introduction to the topic, and maybe a teaser to sign up for this season's courses! A very valuable presentation for anyone who wants to do winter activities, especially ski-touring or snowshoe hiking.

The presentation by Michael Merstallinger about the Salm Hütte, originally planned for the November meeting has been moved to April, due to some work commitments of Michael.
