This is a kind of shortened Rax traverse.
The Brandschneide is a steep and,at times, narrow path with some short ladders which ultimately leads to Otto Haus (lunch break opportunity). This path requires you to be sure-footed and free from dizziness. It's not a ferrata, though
As you might know, the path between the Otto Haus onwards to Seehütte is well-walked, so rarely a solitary experience. I still like to hike it once in a while for the easy walking and the scenic views. The descent from Seehütte to Preiner Gscheid (via Waxriegelhaus) is also a hiking path without technical difficulty.
Hence, a relatively long but technically easy alpine hike once you get up onto the Rax plateau. Good boots & alpine hiking gear absolutely required,
Also, we need to keep to a certain pace, because the last bus from Preiner Gscheid leaves at 16:45 - so please only register if you meet the fitness requirements.
