Spring hike providing some beautiful views on Schneeberg.
Route:
Losenheim / Schneeberg Sesselbahn Talstation - Almreselrhaus - Mamauwiese - Schober - Öhler - Öhlershutzhaus - Puchberg
Hike is some 16,5 km, 770m up & 1.060m down.
Travel is by train + bus (not very early start); for return trip there is a connection every hour (time will depend on the group pace).
There is one steeper uphill section (not too long), so hiking poles could be helpful if you´re otherwise used to them.
Please take some food and drinks for during the hike, if weather allows we will enjoy picnic like breaks.
In a later stage we will pass the Öhlershutzhaus and can make a short stop there if there are available places (but we will have no reservation, so not to have to pace according to that).
If the weather is very bad, hike might be postponed or canceled.
