Kampalpe is a mountain range in the Rax-Schneeberg group, on the border between Lower Austria and Styria, which is less visited compared to its neighbours Raxalpe and Stuhleck, but very interesting one with nice views on the surrounding mountains.
The planned route is:
Spital am Semmering - Kampalpe (1,535 m) - Windmantel (1,534 m) - Tratenkogel (1,565 m)- Mürzzuschlag
It can be modified depending on the conditions.
On this event you can also bring some Glûhwein, Punch or other warm beverage.
We will end up at Mürzzuschlag Christmas market, where we can take another drink or snack

The hike will take place if the weather conditions are favorable. It is suitable for fit hikers who have previous experience in longer winter hikes. If there is a lot of snow we will have to use snowshoes. You can also rent them at Alpenverein Verleih service.
