Christi Himmelfahrt: 4-day biknig tour along the Oder river (CZ-PL) on 13 May 2026

Technically easy multi-day biking trip requiring bike fitness and stamina. Suitable for all kinds of bikes except for road bikes.

We hop on the train on Wed, 13.05. to reach Prerov (Czechia) after 2 hours where we eat dinner and sleep.

Thu, 14.05.: Prerov-Klimkovice (Czechia), about 85 km 

Fri, 15.05.: Klimkovice-Cieszyn, about 75 km; Cieszyn (Cz: Tesin) is a twin-town on the PL-CZ border, apparently very picturesque (never been there myself); https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cieszyn

Sat, 16.05. Cieszyn-Bielsko Biała, 50 km; Bielsko-Biała is a very pleasant town in PL, scoring high (if not highest) in some life-quality rankings of medium-sized cities in PL, right at the foot of the Beskidy mountains.

Sun, 17.05. train back to Vienna in the early afternoon (around 14:00); before: short hike or sightseeing
