Easy scenic half-day hike near Vienna.
Meeting point: Rodaun tram station - final stop of the line nr.60 from Westbahnhof or Hietzing

9:51 Meeting at the tram station. WC available.
10:00 Start.
Hiking up the Perchtolsdorfer Heide with Autumn colors and views over Vienna. Followed by path in the forest.
Approx. 11:20 - 11:45 stop by the Josefswarte, which allows us to look over the Liesing Valley and the peeks around. Break for snack.
We will be going only up the first 3 kms, with 402 m altitude difference.
Then we will be going down partially in the forest, meadow and then a small town.
Again in the nature - Sitttnerwarte above Hinterbrühl will offer another great view!
Approx. 14:15 Reaching the meadow before Schloss Liechtenstein (that gave a name to the Duchy of Liechtenstein), photo stop.
Then continuing down to Maria Enzersdorf.
14:57 - Bus 260 to Brunn am Gebirge, 15:06 train S3 to Meilding (15:20) and further on.
