This year we’re keeping up the tradition with another hiking trip in the Schneeberg region. Along the way, we’ll stop at the Knofeleben hut for a festive goose lunch (Martinigansl), - a pre-reservation will be made.
The idea is to travel by public transport, hike towards Krummbachstein, then return to Knofeleben for lunch before descending and heading back to Vienna.
The route is of medium difficulty, so participants should be reasonably fit and able to keep a steady pace.
Choosing goose is optional—you can order other dishes if you prefer. When registering, please indicate in the “notes” whether or not you would like to have goose for lunch.
A deposit will be requested in advance to secure the goose order.
Plans may be adjusted depending on the weather.
