Kleine Klause & Große Klause - please note: date changed on 20 September 2025

An  day hike in Hintere Hohe Wand icluding a short stretch with a ferrata feel to it.

This is a circular a public transport hike, so we will start & finish at the same train station in the Piesting Tal, so you're welcome to join by car if you should wish so.

The Kleine Klause is officially classed as an A ferrata, but it is a vey short stretch (maybe 50 metres). We'll descend via Große Klause, which has multiple short ladders but (but no real exposure).

At the top, we'll probably also take a walk across to the Vordere Hohe Wand before a late lunch at a hut.
