Description :

For this trip, you need to be able to cycle for multiple days and to bear shared, sometimes rather spartan accommodation. Enjoying a bit of culture and sightseeing is an advantage, though you can skip it if you want. If I don't already know you, I should get to know by the end of the registration period.

The route is technically easy, suitable for all kinds of bikes (maybe except for road bikes).

Route: https://mapy.com/s/nutaluduze

  • Friday evening/night, 5 Sep: arrival in or near Bregenz
  • Saturday, 6 Sep: cycling from Bregenz to Friedrichshafen, about 35 km, <100 m up
  • Sunday, 7 Sep:  cycling from Friedrichshafen to Radolfzell am Bodensee, 60 km, 500 m up
  • Monday, 8 Sep: cycling from Radolfzell am Bodensee to Schaffhausen on the Swiss side, 50 km, 300 m up
  • Tueday, 9 Sep: cycling from Schaffhausen to Konstanz, 50 km, 170 m up
  • Wed, 10 Sep: Konstanz sightseeing, light biking if one wishes to, free programme
  • Thu, 11 Sep: cycling from Konstanz to Bregenz, 65 km, <100 m up

The tour finishes in Bregenz as I will be staying in the area a few days longer. Please organise the journey back to Vienna yourselves (start from checking / booking the bike spots - there only a few places for bikes on each railjet train).

This is a suggested or standard route. If you want to follow different paths, you can, of course, this is not a problem at all (as long as we all meet at the end of the day at our destination).
