KlimaTicket hike - Traunsee - Erlakogel and Brunnkogel 2 Days- 2 summits hike on 19 July 2025

Let’s explore the Salzkammergut, hike up to two summits and have a stunning view of the lakes around.

Day1- Vienna-Ebensee- than hike up to Erlakogel back to Ebensee and by train to Altmünster  

we will take the train till Ebensee 

the hike to the Erlakogel 1575m 12 km 1150m elevation. After the hike we will take the train from Ebenssee to Altmünster. 

Day 2  shuttle taxi from Altmünster to the starting point. Our summit for the secund day is Brunnkogel 1708 m (around 11 km 1100 elevation) this is a black trail, technically a more demanding hike including some part where you have to use your hand and secured paths with steel cables or steel bars.  We will path the Langbathsee on the way but the view from the cross is even more breathtaking. The shuttle service will bring us back to Altmünster. We will be back in Vienna around 21:00 o'clock. 

Overnights in Altmünster accommodation without breakfast is 59 EUR/night/person in a a double room.  Breakfast is available for 11 EUR.

Deposit will be required.
