Description :

As it is a multi-day hike, if I do not know you please send me a short message and let me know about your experience. 

Day 1 this is a friday, so you will need to take a day off!  Gosau-to Hintertal over Zwischenalmhütte.  10km 900m elevation mostly T2 and some T3 

Day 2 to hike from Gosau lake to Hallstatt 20km 1000m up and 1400 down including some not well marked part. 

Day 3  visit the town in the morning hours before the tourist arrives have breakfast

After breakfast we visit skywalk and  Saltworld he oldest salt mine in the world and have fun by sliding down on the long slides this is about 3 hours. We need to take the cable car as there is constraction work on the hill and all hiking trails are closed. 

In the afternoon we walk from Hallstatt to Steeg Railwaystation  8km entlag the see about 2,5-3 hours and take the train around 18 o'clock back to Vienna. 

Overnights

First night in in Der Gamsjäger 82 EUR /night/ person in double room  including breakfast

Second night in Aparment Sophia Hallstatt; 84  EUR/night/ person in a apparment  (two double beds and two singel beds) no breakfast included. 

Deposit of 166 Euro will be required as there is no possibility of last-minute cancelation so event when the weather is not favourable we will have some options.

Options for bad weather,  hike along the lake go for a boot trip and visit the oldest salt mine in the world. We still can have an active weekend. 

 

Technical requirements :
T2, Rough areas, broken rocks and boulder fields are not a problem for me. I am sure-footed and free of dizziness
