Falkenstein ferrata goes over a steep rock face. It is easy accessible via a short approach, and there is an alpine hut near the exit which we can also visit. The descent is comfortable via a hiking trail. There's also a long (30-meter) and challenging three-cable bridge over the Mühlbach gorge. We will not do the more difficult D/E variant, but the easier one - B/C, with two C/D passages in the last part, but still the effort and skills needed should not be underestimated.
This via ferrata is difficult and not suitable for beginners - it is rated C/D and requires previous experience on similar grade, therefore in order to take part, you should be already highly experienced with ferratas with this level of difficulty.
In case of bad weather, the event may be shifted to Sunday the same weekend, postponed or cancelled.
