Description :

20-30 cm of fresh snow is expected on Rax this Friday following by quite a sunny weekend. It would be a pitty not to enjoy it.

The exact route will be decided later on but this will be an just an ordinary hike so please do not be afraid of it just because of the organizer.

Technical requirements :

T1, I can move myself surefootedly on trails and narrow foot-paths

Physical requirements :

K2, 4-7 hours / day; up and down

no more than 6 hours, no more than 1000 m elevation gain

Equipment :

sturdy boots, spikes and/or trekking poles can help us stay stable on fresh snow

Transport Details :

We go with my car. Pickup location U6 Meidling or U1 Altes Landgut depending on majority vote.
