The route depends very much on the waether and personal preferences. If the waether is fine and the majority is for a longer hike, we can start from Mödling at around 9-9:30 am and do, for example, this hike: https://de.mapy.cz/s/gugafujoza. A shorter alternative could look like this: https://de.mapy.cz/s/fusujamozu. In case of a shitty waether, we will go straight to the restaurant (this is also an option who are into goose but not so much into a hike).
After the goose feast we can either roll into the train (Guntramsdorf Thalern station) or Badner Bahn - Wienerlokalbahn (WLB) or hike to Mödling (headlamps required as we will certainly be finishing after sunset), from where we would take a train back to Vienna.
We will eat Martinigansl at a local heurige in Guntramsdorf.
The reservation is at 14:00; 2 PM.
Heuriger. Winzer Familie Gregor Schup
website : https://www.schup.wien
Martini Gansl: 32.90 Euro
Please note. If you are gluten-intolerant or would not like to have a goose, you need to let me know about it at least one week in advance.
The Heuriger is easily accessible by car or on public transport, Badner Bahn (WLB) to Guntramsdorf Lokalbahn station (8 minutes walk) or S bahn to Guntramsdorf Thalern station (20 minutes walk). Regardless of the weather, I will need final confirmation of your participation by 1. November. We have to pre-order the Martinigansl dinner therefore last minute cancellations are not possible.
