The weather looks nice and on hot days it's nice to hide in the forest and be close to water. We will take an unmarked trail through Stadelwandgraben, take a break at the Kienthallerhuette and descend through Weichtalklamm gorge (A/B klettersteig - no set needed). And we can add a few Klettersteige if the group is up for it: a very short C Kletetersteig with scenic views of Hollental at the Kienthalerhuette and we can later stay at the Weichtalhaus in the Klettersteig training pitches for more rock fun (anything up to E).

This hike is suitable if you like more technical hikes in rocky terrain and feel confident downscrabling though a steep gorge (can be wet). Ideally you have done some B klettersteig before or some course/training. It's also a good refresher if you want to restart with Klettersteige after a while. I'll give priority to participants with previous experience and interest in Klettersteige.

It'd be possible to rent a klettersteig set and the helmet at a discount price at the OAV Austria Servicestelle in Rotenturmstrasse (or at other servicestelle at normal price).
Klettersteig set is not needed for the Weichtalklamm but helmet is highly recommended (risk of rockfalls). Take the klettersteig set if you want to clim the small klettersteig at the hut (unless you are very fien with exposed C) and if you want to do some extra at the Weichtalhaus.
Kienthalerhuette has no running water so pls take enough liquids or/and small change to buy bottled drinks.
This hike can only happen on Saturday and cannot be postponed to Sunday.
