Let's take advantange of long summer evenings and meet in Moedling (at about 17.30) for a short klettersteig training and scenic views. This event is suitable for beginners or if you want to restart with klettersteige after a longer break - in such case I will explain the basics about the equiptment and its correct use. The Moedlinger Klettersteig is perfect for showcasing different features and technical aspects you would normally experience in up to C level klettersteige (vie ferrate). However, this is NOT a klettersteig course and I am not a mountain guide, so you should be able to do the Klettersteig on your own. You need to organise the equipment (through the Servicestelle for example).

We can stop for dinner in Moedling before taking the train to Vienna.

The exact date can change and will depend on weather forecast - but I aim for sometime Tue-Thu in that week.

Technical requirements :

T3, I feel fine in difficult technical conditions and have mountain experience. I can manage to climb up and down without a rope on routes of climbing difficulty UIAA grade 1+
