This "Glühweinmarathon" event will take place at Dürnstein castle's Christmas market, where one can enjoy exquisite delicacies, punch and mulled wine,

As for the hiking part, we will start from Krems and do some 12 km easy hiking trail to Dürnstein, and we will depart back to Vienna from there.

You are also encouraged to bring your own mulled wine or other hot or cold drinks of your choice, along with some snacks. At the Christmas market you can then have additional Glühwein or other drinks and food.

The event can be shifted to Sunday if the weather is significantly better that day.

T1, I can move myself surefootedly on trails and narrow foot-paths
