Abseiling practice on 22 October 2023

This event aims at polishing your abseiling skills. You will be able to:

• check how does it fill to abseil on different kind of ropes
• check the difference between abseiling on a tuber/reverso, figure eight and HMS carabiner
• practice resuming abseiling after taking a break in the middle
• practice useful tricks like a quick abseil in a team of three
• practice climbing up the rope

To take part in this event you should already know how to abseil. You don't need to know how to set up the rope for abseiling though.

The event will take place in Mödling (precisely here).

Depending on the weather It can be moved to Saturday.

We meet at the spot. It is reachable by the public transport. First you take any train or S-bahn to Mödling and there you switch to bus 264. You hop off the bus at the Vorderbrühl Jägerhausgasse stop.
