On hot days it's good to cool down up on a mountain, so let's do it hard and interesting way (and let's train for Grimming ;-)).
We will start from Weichtalhaus, go up the unmarked trail through Stadlwandgraben direct up to Klosterwappen, eat our picnic lunch there and descend through the northern trail to Kienthalerhuette, where we can fetch something to drink before taking a refreshing tour down through Weichtalklamm.
Weichtal klamm is technically an easy A/B klettersteig, there are a few ladders and you should be comfortable scrambling down through a rocky gorge.
You need to be very fit for this hike, have a good stamina and feel comfortable with scree and scrambling on the way down. The reward will be nice views and a cool gorge.
The route will be something like this: https://en.mapy.cz/s/mabafocezo
Important: Kienthaler huette faces water scarcity so do not count on refilling your water botter for free there. Either take enough liquids for the whole hike or bring small change for buying a drink there.
I will give preference to people I know are fit enough for this hike. If we dodn't know each other and you are condifent you will enjoy the hike of this difficulty feel free to reach out to me :)
The number of participants is limited because I do want to take too many people through the quiet area of Stadlwandgraben.
In case of stormy weather the hike can be postponed to Sunday or if the weather is stormy on both days we will do an alternative tour in the same area.
I will communicate the logistics details to registered participants on Thursday.
