The second event in my "after work" series....
A technically relatively straight forward but physically quite demanding mountain bike ride from Nussdorf, over (or near) the Kahlenberg, Hermannskogel, Sophienalpe and down to Hütteldorf, on a Friday afternoon.
Meeting point will be at the Urania, near Schwedenplatz and the Danube Canal, at around 3pm, or if anyone prefers at Nussdorf (S-Bahn) station a bit later (if you want to meet us in Nussdorf, please add a note to your registration).
From Urania to Hütteldorf, it is approx 30km but about 600m of elevation (and descent!), so you need reasonable physical condition. A well maintained mountainbike is required for this tour. Most of the ride will be on forest trails or small roads, very little (if any) single trails.
We can stop for a drink either along the way, or in Vienna when we get down.
Estimated riding time: approx 3 hours (excluding breaks)
The trip will only take place in good weather (i.e. reasonably dry and not rediculously hot)
