Description :

Two single days of snowshoeing in our around the Annaberg area, in southern Lower Austria not far from the Ötscher and Mariazell. The exact routes will be decided depending on the weather conditions and transport availability.

We will stay overnight at the Gasthof Meyer in Annaberg, where there is also a Sauna, which we can use to warm up and relax on the Saturday evening after the hike.

Maximum 10 places available – first come first served!

Public Transportation: Is possible if necessary.

Car sharing: Will be organized by the trip organizer

Comments: If there is no snow, then the event will still take place without snowshoes.

Technical requirements :

T2, Rough areas, broken rocks and boulder fields are not a problem for me. I am sure-footed and free of dizziness

Physical requirements :

K2, 4-7 hours / day; up and down

Snowshoe hikes up to about 7 hours and probably up to about 600-800m of elevation gain.

Lugged-sole Alpine boots, snowshoes and poles, warm and dry clothes for the winter, lunch, snacks and drinks, including hot drinks.
