Description :

An ACV classic - let's search for signs of springs in the Wienerwald.

A gentle hike starting from Perchtoldsdorf to the Salzstanglwirt Gasthaus (lunch possible) and the Josefswarte and back to Perchtoldsdorf. All in all less than 10 km distance and 400 m altitude gain. Somewhere on the way we should find bärlauch (the wild garlic) which we can pick up.

Transport Details :

Whatever gets you to the Perchtoldsdorf Marplat (e.g. a train S2/S3/S4 to the Perchtoldsdorf Bahnhof and a 20 minutes walk or a train S2/S3/S4/REX1 to the Wien Liesing Bahnhof and then a bus 259 to the Perchtoldsdorf Marktplatz). Google knows public transport around Vienna reasonably well so you can just ask your phone for directions.
