Description :

I’ve seen a magnificent 12th century medieval castle on a rocky outcrop from a motorway several times, just for a few seconds. That’s burg Grimmenstein and now there is an advent market so why not hike there, see it from closer by and have some warm drink of choice and a snack together.

This is a short 8.5km hike.

We'll take a train shortly before 10am and arrive to Petersbaumgarten at 11.10am. There are regular trains back from Grimmenstein village. I'll send the details to the registered particpants before the hike.

No Alpenverein membership required.

T1, I can move myself surefootedly on trails and narrow foot-paths
