Description :

We will take the train to Neusiedl am See and cycle down to Illmitz where we will have a break at the Seebad. There we can have a picknick or eat at the restaurant and have a swim in the lake. After the break we will take the ferry to the other side of the lake and cycle back up to Neusiedl am See. We can go to a restaurant in Neusiedl or somewhere along the way.

The area around the lake is a national park with a beautiful fauna and flora and home to many animals, especially a large variety of birds.

The trip is planned for 9 July, in case of bad weather it might be changed to 10 July.

Technical requirements :

T1, I can move myself surefootedly on trails and narrow foot-paths

Physical requirements :

K2, 4-7 hours / day; up and down
