Note 30.6.2022: From the 30th June, the city of Vienna is prohibiting the use of the "Grillplätze" due to the danger of wildfires. We will still meet at the same place and time, but bring a picnic with you instead of something to put on the grill. We are not allowed to light the grill!
Starting time: from 17.00 (coming later is no problem!)
Bring: friends and kids, a blanket or chair, drinks & eats!
Enjoy an evening out with “that English speaking bunch” from Alpenverein Austria.
Plus: Early evening views of the Leopoldsberg across the Danube, maybe a swim, and lots of fun.

Drinks — Picnic – Salads – Snacks — Maybe something to share - and of course something to put on the grill!
Comments:
Whatever you need for a swim. Mosquito repellent might be useful and rain gear just in case! ???
Doubtful weather??? If the weather is bad, the event will be cancelled. This will be announced on this page, and registered participants will be informed by mail.
In case of cancellation, there will NOT be an alternate date. Our reservation valid on this date only.
Membership in Alpenverein is NOT required: Bring your friends, kids, grandpa & grandma, aunts & uncles, cousins and anybody else interested in speaking English, having fun, eating and drinking, swimming, and much conversation.
There is NO regular monthly meeting in the Rotenturmstrasse in July.
As the number of participants is limited, we please register if you intend attending. If you register but subsequently cannot attend, please inform us by email (info@alpineclubvienna.org).
