Hike to Aggstein - a 12th-century medieval castle ruins atop a rocky outcrop offering great views of the Danube. That weekend the castle Advent market takes place at the castle, and this is good opportunity to attend it. The itinerary is the following: Oberarnsdorf - Rote Wand - Hoher Stein - Maria Langegg - Dunkelsteiner Wald - Burg Ruine Aggstein - Aggsbach Dorf.
It is mostly an easy hike, but some parts are more demanding, especially Hoher Stein, which also involves a short feratta of difficulty A/B (optional - so not everyone needs to do it).
The event will be organized only if the current regulations allow it and the weather conditions are good.
