Description :

A combination of two secured trails (dificulty A/B) with a visit to two hospitable mountain huts on the Styrian Rax side. Surefootedness and physical preparedness is necessary, especially on the Bismarcksteig. Lunch break is planned for the Waxriegelhaus, on the return back.

Current pandemic rules will apply, as announced at the club website: https://www.alpineclubvienna.org/ (subject to change, so the event can be canceled on short notice, or extra limitations imposed). Also, the event can be moved to the previous day (Saturday) in case of more favorable weather conditions.

Technical requirements :

T3, I feel fine in difficult technical conditions and have mountain experience. I can manage to climb up and down without a rope on routes of climbing difficulty UIAA grade 1+

Physical requirements :

K2, 4-7 hours / day; up and down
