Bärlauch hike from Rodaun, via the Wiener Hütte, to the Föhrenberge Nature Park. Also open for non members of ACV.
If the situation allows, we will make our standard Bärlauch (wild garlic) hike, in order to enjoy the early spring in the Föhrenberge Nature Park and to collect a decent amount of Bärlauch:) The hike will take place only if the current pandemic development and the regulations allow it at the time of the hike. In case of a not favorable situation, the hike will be postponed or cancelled. Our path will lead us to Bergkirche, via the Wiener Stadtwanderweg 6 to the Wiener Hütte. Afterwards, we take Kaltenleutgeben into the Föhrenberge Nature Park and further to the Josefswarte at the Kammersteiner Hütte where we can make a refreshment stop and enjoy the highest point with a nice view of Wienerwald and the south part of Vienna. Descent is planned via the Parapluiberg and the Perchtoldsdorfer Heide again to Rodaun.
Starting point is Rodaun Schule station, the arrival by public transport is by bus 60A from the U6 Alterlaa or with S-Bahn.
On the return back, from Rodaun a tram 60 or buses can be taken to return back to Vienna.
