19.1.2021: Due to the extension of the lockdown, this event will be postponed (maybe also a different route). Once it is clearer when we can start running events, I will update the information on this page.
A long (18km, ca 900m of elevation in total) but technically not difficult hike from Reichental in the Piesting Valley over the Dürre Wand to Puchberg. The Öhlerhaus was open last time I did this route (before the pandemic) in winter, so I am hoping it will be open this time too, to warm up before the steep descent down to Puchberg.
Due to the length of the hike, and possibly the cold, only fit, brisk hikers should register. Generally I will only accept members I know for this hike.
Of course this trip will only take place if the Covid regulations allow it. Currently the lockdown is due to end on the 24th Jan, but it is not clear what will be allowed/possible after this date. Maybe there will be some additional limitations (e.g. number of participants) or the trip may have to be rescheduled or cancelled.
