Easy to moderate Sunday hike to Schöpfl, highest peak of the outer Vienna Woods (893m)
In good weather, there is a lovely view from the 'Warte' at the top...and hopefully we'll be in time for the peak of autumnal forest colours, too.:)
Total walking time approx. 5 hrs (+/- 1 hr, depending on group size etc.)
Public transport hike, ascending from Klammhöhe, lunch break Schöpfl Schutzhütte, descending to Altlengbach, return to Vienna by public transport.
Maybe not too 'gemütlich' in terms of walking speed, as we need to catch a bus connection at the other end..;)
