A hike at short notice!

The Novembergrat is a 1+ climb up the Schneeberg, coming out near the Damböck Haus. We will start from Schneebergdörfl, ascend to the Grafensteig via the Schneidergraben, then take Novembergrat. From there on, we can be flexible, possibly going to the Fischerhaus and/or the summit, or descending either via the Oberer Herminensteig or just walking down along the railway line.

To participate in this hike, you need to have good fitness, the ability to climb 1+ without any problems, and a good head for heights, as there may be some exposure. If people register who I don't know, I will ask for information about your experience to judge suitability for this trip.

Technical requirements :

T3, I feel fine in difficult technical conditions and have mountain experience. I can manage to climb up and down without a rope on routes of climbing difficulty UIAA grade 1+

Physical requirements :

K2, 4-7 hours / day; up and down

Equipment :

Solid hiking boots with ankle support, usual hiking equipments for alpine conditions, suncream, sunhat, sunglasses, snacks and plenty of water (min 2L)

Transport Details :

By car. Meeting point will be Schneebergdörfl, 8.30am. Car sharing will be organised by the trip organiser on Friday evening. Drivers - please write your meeting time and place in the notes during registration.
