2- day alpine hike (starting on Friday!) for confident and reasonably experienced alpine hikers who are used to challenging/ demanding hikes (some exposure, use of hands/ some scrambling required, stretches of the path secured by ropes or chains in the upper regions of the Phyrgas).
On this occasion I will only be able to take people who I know from other hikes, i'm afraid.
Day 1 (Friday!) - leave Vienna by mid or later morning by train or car (both options are possible, the start and end point of the tour is Spital am Phyrn): hike up through Vogelsangklamm to Bosruckhuette (approx 2hrs), then 'Karleckrunde' to Rohrauerhaus (appr 3 hrs, stay overnight) .
