Description :

Moderately easy mountainbike tour, starting from Stockerau railway station over the Michelberg and Waschberg. Starting mid morning, we will do this tour. Following the tour, if people want, we can ride back to Vienna either along the Danube or through more of Weinviertel, and with a bit of luck, we might find a Heuriger for a little refreshment on the way back.

Technical requirements :

T2, Rough areas, broken rocks and boulder fields are not a problem for me. I am sure-footed and free of dizziness

Physical requirements :

K2, 4-7 hours / day; up and down

Equipment :

Mountain bike in good condition, helmet, cycling gloves, repair kit + spare inner tube, drinks and snacks, sun protection, clothing according to weather forecast, face mask & hand sanitiser

Transport Details :

Stockerau railway station is reachable by train, car or bike from Vienna. Registered participants will be informed of the meeting time (it will coincide with the arrival of a train). Recommended to arrive by train, so the option to return to Vienna by bike can be taken advantage of. Of course, return by train is also possible.
