Description :

We will take the train to Melk (~ 1 hour) and start the bike trip there going through the beautiful Wachau along the Danube to Krems (~ 38 km). In Krems we will stop to have lunch or a picknick.

There is the possibility to continue to Tulln (~ 45 km) by bike where we could also take the train back to Vienna (~ 30'). Then the total trip would be around 83 km.

Let's see how fit we feel by then. Personally I am a bit out of shape right now due to home office and lack of excercise! :)

Technical requirements :

T1, I can move myself surefootedly on trails and narrow foot-paths

Physical requirements :

K2, 4-7 hours / day; up and down

Transport Details :

We will take the train from Vienna to Melk and then the train back to Vienna from either Krems or Tulln.
