Description :

A very manageable late-autumn hike in the Voralpen region (maximum 6 hours walking time in total), probably very similar in character as the walk i am offering in October, though a maybe slightly lesser known area for the Vienna-based walker.

We start & finish the walk in Lilienfeld (public transport walk, unless there are enough drivers! Travel cost will be around 16 Euros WITH Oebb card). Details will be published nearer the date.

There is at least one hut (maybe even two) on the way, but do make sure you bring enough to drink & some snacks as usual..:)

T1, I can move myself surefootedly on trails and narrow foot-paths

Physical requirements :

K2, 4-7 hours / day; up and down

Sturdy boots, the usual waterproof & warm clothing, water, snacks.

Transport Details :

Train from Vienna to Lilienfeld, return by the same route. If there are enough drivers, car-sharing is an alternative.
