Description :

The Haidsteig is a Viennese classic just like the schnitzel and the sacher cake. Moderately difficult (C/D), rather long (420 m elevation gain) ferrata in a high-alpine surrounding. If you are into ferratas and wasn't there already, it's a must and if you did it already it's a route you would probably enjoy one more time.

You should fell confident on C ferratas to be able to do this one. You should be also fit enough to make 400 m up on a ferrata (preceded by an approach with 500 m elevation gain).

Technical requirements :

T3, I feel fine in difficult technical conditions and have mountain experience. I can manage to climb up and down without a rope on routes of climbing difficulty UIAA grade 1+

Physical requirements :

K2, 4-7 hours / day; up and down
