A traverse of the Pretulalpe by night.
On Saturday we will ascend the Stuhleck to the Alois Günter Haus, where we will pop in for a coffee to warm up. Once the sun goes down, we will traverse the Pretulalpe in the dark, with hopefully a wonderful view of the stars (this weekend is new moon, so it will be dark, but hopefully the light from the stars will be enough to find the way!)
On Sunday, we will return to the starting point, possibly via the same route.
And all with snowshoes!
Exact details will be made at short notice, when we know what the conditions will be like.
Possible starting points would be Pfaffensattel (only reachable by car - need drivers! But short ascent - late start) or Spital am Semmering (reachable by train, but long ascent - would need to start in the morning).
For fit hikers, prior snowshoeing experience is not required.
