A one day hike in the Mürztal to enjoy the autumn colours! Probably either on the Hohe Veitsch or the Tonion, but an exact plan will be decided upon later. Plan on a longish day, with some steep ascents/descents, but no climbing/via ferratas or anything technical.

In case of bad weather, the trip may be postponed to the Sunday, cancelled or changed, at the discretion of the organiser!

Technical requirements :

T2, Rough areas, broken rocks and boulder fields are not a problem for me. I am sure-footed and free of dizziness

Physical requirements :

K2, 4-7 hours / day; up and down

Duration in hours and
elevation gain :

up to 1200m ascent and 7 hours, depending on chosen route

Max. altitude in metres :

2000

Equipment :

Sturdy ankle high hiking boots, waterproofs, warm clothes (layering principle), sunhat, sunglasses, suncream, lunch + at least 2L drinks, preferably including a hot drink

Transport Details :

We will travel by car - please enter your availability to drive in the registration. Details of drivers, meeting points/times etc will be sent after registration is closed.
