Description :

Some of us feel convenient on D ferrata already. A logical next step is to try something D/E and there is no better option around Vienna then the OTK Steig (former known as the HTL Steig).

As it's close to Vienna and relatively short we can do it during (a little shortened) work day which assures no crowds on the route. Starting 2:30pm from Vienna we can begin ferrata around 4pm and should be on top before 6pm leaving us just enough time to go back down before the sunset (6:40pm).

As it's a difficult hike there are some requirements:

you feel convenient on D ferratas and can do them on your own
I know you

As it's a difficult hike participants limit is 2 (including me). It can change a little depending on who signs up.

Technical requirements :

T3, I feel fine in difficult technical conditions and have mountain experience. I can manage to climb up and down without a rope on routes of climbing difficulty UIAA grade 1+

Physical requirements :

K1, 2-4 hours / day; up and down
