A pleasant and as for the landscape varied hike past Großer und Kleiner Wasserfall up to the Muckenkogel. I do not think it is technically difficult (metal steps and railings at the most exposed parts) but physically challenging as it is quite steep on occasion and we will rise about 1000 m in altitude from the train station. Picknick near the Traisner Hütte, perhaps also a break at the Klosteralm or Lilienfelder Hütte or back at the village at the Gasthof Ebner next to the train station.
Public transport: We will meet at 8:30 at Bahnhof Meidling taking RJ 262 to St. Pölten, then R6710 to Lilienfeld; return also from Lilienfeld
