What can You do?
Well, for starters you can come to a monthly meeting and make sure that
this is what you want to do.
Then, go on a few trips with us and experience all that Austria has to
offer. Get to know us.
Some of our activities originate from our group leaders, and some originate from our members. We work on a "friends inviting friends" method, and we are all volunteers. If you would like to suggest an activity, and could do a little research and planning to organize it, we would encourage you to do so. There are two basic types of activites; those that are Scheduled Events that are put in the Events List and Calendar, and those that are more casual outings that originate in the Forum, usually with short notice and requiring the minimum of planning.
To plan a Scheduled Event, you can fill out a Trip Sheet (see example here), and contact our group leaders for advice if you are new to this. We can then fit it somewhere in our schedule where it does not conflict with any other events. Then we broadcast it with email, post it on the website, and announce it in our monthly meetings.
If they don't come?
Well, this was something you would do anyway right? When we numbered 20
individuals, this was an issue.
The Forum is a good place to start for a casual get together, and the
monthly meetings are always the place to get current news and meet like
minded people.
