Description:
Challenge yourself high above the ground, secured by carabiners and master various obstacles.
You can enjoy the world from above by 'climbing' back and forth as long as you don't use the 'Flying Fox' down!

Length of
activity, difficulty:
approximately 1 hour (but it's up to you how long you keep moving up there), afterwards Pizzakeller (Am Kaisermühlendamm 53, 1220 Wien) and some ice cream (Trento).
Be sure that you are not afraid of heights and you feel safe by just hanging on two carabiners!

Ending time: open end (Hochseilgarten about 1 hour)

Transportation:
Take the U1 to Donauinsel (exit Kaisermühlendamm) and walk down stream. Donauinsel Kletterpark is between Reichsbrücke and Kaisermühlenbrücke (red bridge) on your left side. It's just past the 'Sporthauptschule (school) and opposite the Pizzakeller (yellow and blue building). It's about a 10 minute walk.
Driving Instructions:
Not recommended as parking might be sparse in summer. Use the 'Kaisermühlen Parkplatz' and walk up stream for about 10 minutes. The Donauinselkletterpark is on your right side, just past the Kaisermühlenbrücke (red bridge).
Bicylces and inline-skates are also a good option!
Recommended Equipment:
Wear proper and comfortable shoes (Sandals are not recommended as you might get tangled in the ropes!). A harness, helmet and carabiners will be provided for you. (They don't let you use your own equipment.)
The entrance fee is € 13. Bring your membership card of the Alpenverein for a discount (entrance fee: € 10). For a group of 10 or more people it will be € 10 as well.
Please read the Regulations of the Donauinsel Kletterpark and print out the form (Teilnahmebedingungen), fill it out and bring it along. (Should come along with the Trip Sheet!)

If you are not into an adventure high above the ground but want to watch us, feel free to come and join us for the social part only.
Registration:
Please register preferably by e-mail until June 24th (Tuesday, 2pm) that I can make reservations for the Hochseilgarten and the Pizzakeller.
In case of bad weather (rain, thunderstorm,...) it will be cancelled. (The Hochseilgarten is closed!)
