HIKERS MEET BIKERS?
HIKERS:
Vienna has lots of green places but most of the
people are walking only on
popular ways and don't know that we have also a
JUNGLE with climbing plants.
I would like to take you to the Vienna PRATER but we
will not walk on the
HAUPTALLEE under the chestnut-tree. We will go in
the forest to hear the
woodpecker, to see old and very huge broken trees
beside nature water.
What has this to do with bikers? If you are
interested read point 2.
1) Walkers meet on SUNDAY the 28th of March at 14:00
(2pm) U3 Station
"SCHLACHTHAUSGASSE". Exit: MARKHOFGASSE. In front of
the bus 84A.
16:00 (4pm) we will go to the GASTHAUS GOESSER
BIERINSEL and meet there
maybe the bikers. After we will go back again
through the forest.

ONLY FOR THE BIKERS:
2) IDEA: If you prefer to see a part of Vienna with the bike you meet at 13:30 (1:30pm) U1 Station VORGARTENSTRASSE".
Or you come with the bike at 14:00 (2:00pm) to the U6 Station "NEUE DONAU".
If you arrive with the Schnellbahn (I don't know how
many bikes are
allowed.) it will not have a station at "NEUE
DONAU".
You can leave at the
station "HANDELSKAI" and drive over the bridge to
the U6 Station "NEUE
DONAU".
You drive along the NEUE DONAU through KAISERMUEHLEN
(U1 Station), after
Schnellbahnstation "LOBAU", until
"STEINSPORNBRÜCKE". Cross the bridge and
continue on the NEUE DONAU on the other side in the
same direction until
KRAFTWERK FREUDENAU. Cross this bridge again and go
back on the dike called"Praterspitzstraße" beside the DANUBE.
You drive
until you see a PAGODA.
Before you maybe visit the PAGODA you see on the
left hand a street called"Seitenhafenstrasse"
As soon as your at the beginning of
NATURE WATER you drive
along the way on the left side in direction"LUSTHAUS".
THE END: You will
arrive near the last station of 77A"GAERTNERSTRASSE".
Near there you will
find the GASTHAUS GOESSER BIERINSEL.
You could drive home through the HAUPTALLEE in
direction Praterstern.
We will meet us at GASTHAUS GOESSER BIERINSEL.
