Hike Paulmauer (1248 m), Türnitzer Alpen, Niederösterreich

Meeting and ending point: Raiffeisenbank in St. Aegyd am Neuwalde, Niederösterreich.
Meeting time: 9.00 a.m.
Difficulty: Easy, not dangerous. Also suitable for children.
Duration: 4-5 hours (shorter also possible)

Route description: St. Aegyd a.N. - Zdarskyhütte (1.080m) - Paulmauer (1.248m) and back. Nice views to mountains in the surroundings (Göller, Schneeberg, Türnitzer Höger, Ötscher). "Alm" with meadows, playground beside Zdarskyhütte. Possiblity to do only part of the trip and stay at Zdarskyhütte until we all return.

Equipment needed: Usual hiking gear for summer time. Bring along enough drinks and some food, would be nice to have lunch at Paulmauer (but Zdarskyhütte also offers eating and drinking).

Car connections: Wien- Westautobahn A1 - St. Pölten - Lilienfeld - Freiland - St. Aegyd am Neuwalde. 124 km.
Within St. Aegyd route to Raiffeisenbank: Pass on the right-hand side Spar, Cafe Vogelleitner, then park at parking space beside Raiffeisenbank (meeting point).
