      Route:
      Saturday: Gstatterboden/Gesaeuse - Ennstaler Huette, stay overnight.
      Sunday: Ennstalerhuette - Tamischbachturm - and back the same route to Gstatterboden.

      Length of activity in hours/kilometers, elevation, grade of difficulty:
      Gstatterboden - Ennstalerhuette 3,5 hrs, Ennstalerhuette - Tamischbachturm 1,5 hrs. Tamischbachturm - Gstatterboden 4 hrs. Gstatterboden 570 m, Ennstaler Huette 1544 m, Tamischbachturm 2035 m
      Not dangerous, not difficult, but some hours walking and "Trittsicherheit" (SURE FOOTEDNESS?) near the summit (A 2).
      Meeting point and ending point: Railway station Gstatterboden/Gesaeuse (near Admont)

      Meeting time: 17th June, 11:00 a.m. (arrival of train from Vienna)
      Car Connections:
      Vienna - Gstatterboden via Westautobahn 214 km
      Wien - Westautobahn (A1) - exit Ybbs a.d. Donau, B25/B115/B146 to Hieflau, then Gstatterboden (direction Admont).
      Variation (possibly a bit more time to drive, but most of the time "Schnellstraße" or motorway):
      Vienna - Gstatterboden via Suedautobahn: 245 km
      Wien - Suedautobahn (A2) - S6 to Semmering - St. Michael - A9 to Trieben, B114/B146 to Gstatterboden.

      Gstatterboden / Wien Westbhf:
      15,01 / 18,42
      17,06 / 20,28

      Equipment needed: Usual equipment for alpine hiking at medium regions with stay overnight at a hut. E.g.: Solid hiking shoes, raincoat, pullover, drinking bottle, some food, suncream, sun glasses, clothes for changing, slippers, inner sleeping bag (two linens or special makes), toilet bag, flashlight.
      Additional Remarks

      A very nice view from Ennstalerhuette and Tamischbachturm over Gesaeuse (an alpine region).

      About the only summit in Gesaeuse to reach without climbing!
      Membership in OEAV required to participate.
