Skitour at Stuhleck (Forellentour)

Meeting point: If the weather / snowsituation is ok:
Feb. 17^th at 9.00 at the parking place at the Kaltenbachlift

Tour: We take the lift(s) up to the top, before we put on the skin onto our skies. We pass the top and ski down through wood and nice meadows to Rettenegg. There is a good restaurant for lunch (they have very good fish (Forellen))

After lunch we take the taxi to the Pfaffensattel, from there we have to go to the top (Günther Haus) approx. 400 m in altitude. There you can choose whether you go down at the pists or offpist through the Kaltenbachgraben, which is nice when it is a good snow.

It is a nice tour for beginners – there should be no avalanches.

Requirements: Ski Tour Equipment + Avalanche Beacon or "Lawinenpieps“ in German.
(both can be rented at one of the Alpenverein sections and at Various Stores.)

To join, you should be a secure skier!

Costs: ca. 10,-€ for the one way trip on the lift(s) and
4,- to 6,-€ for the taxi (depending on the number of people attending)
