Route:
Klammhöhe (appr. 650m) - Schöpfl (893m, highest summit of Wienerwald) - Schöpflhaus (870m, lunch time). Then back the same route.
Length of activity in hours/kilometers, elevation, grade of difficulty
(all figures approximatively):
W1 (Hiking
of light difficulty, under 5 hours).
One way 10km, difference in elevation 200m.
Way up 2-3 hours, way down 2 hours.
Easy trail over meadows and through woods, not difficult, not dangerous.

Car Connections:
Westautobahn A1: Wien - Altlengbach, then Bundesstraße 19 Laaben - Klamm - Klammhöhe.
From Wien-Hütteldorf 43km.
Public Transport Connections:
I would propose carsharing.

Equipment needed: Solid hiking shoes
(withstanding some moisture) and so on ... Temperature can be winterly, so
take along enough warm clothes !!
Additional Remarks
Lunch at Schöpfl-Schutzhaus near the summit. Great panoramic view over Wienerwald
and "Voralpen" from observation tower at the summit!
